La Flora’s new fashion trendy uniforms were designed by two famous designers of Thailand. The design is modern style and inspiration came from the gentle flowers and warm colors black, grey, brown, white, cream & especially orange, which is basically a combination of red and yellow, the symbol colours of La Flora. It denotes energy, warmth, and the sun. But orange has a bit less intensity or aggression than red, calmed by the cheerfulness of yellow.
For the ladies, they have many styles depending on their position but one of the same features the designer put are two petals of flower on the shirt, an upside down petal and a turned face-up petal on the sleeve. The upside down petal sleeve points to courteousness and greeting. It’s for the service department, who take care of the guests such as guest service agents and for the face-up petal sleeve has like a container for putting money inside. This pattern will be for officers, who are not connected directly with the guests, such as Account department and IT department.
For the men, the highlight is a simplicity, style but warmth. The executives wear long sleeve shirts and the officers wear short sleeves but the same long trousers. They have many designs up to the department and the level of position but both will combine in a warm color way.
The styling of hair and shoes emphasizes neatness and tidiness.
La Flora Resort Patong staff will wear the new uniform from the 26th January, 2010 onwards.
