Luxury brand Chanel announced Wednesday that it has chosen American actor Brad Pitt to appear in the next advertising campaign for its iconic fragrance No. 5.
Chanel gave no details but the deal is thought to mark the first time that the iconic perfume for women will be marketed by a man.
The Academy Award-nominated star is reportedly shooting his first ad in London sometime this week, according to E! News.
Chanel No 5 was launched by French designer Coco Chanel in 1922. Other faces of Chanel No. 5 include Catherine Deneuve, Nicole Kidman and Audrey Tautou.
